Understanding children
This is a 6 -week course, each session lasting 2.5 hours, for parents of children under 11 years. Key areas covered are understanding children's behaviour, listening skills, play, empathic relating, and managing challenging behaviour. In a research study this course had excellent outcomes for improving the quality of the relationships between parents and children.
Fee £120 per person (£40 low income).
